Ultrafast dynamics in CIO2 and CIO2(H20)n excited at 398nm

2001
The different relaxation and fragmentation channels of CIO2 and CIO2(H2O)n excited at 398nm to the (2A2, v1=6) state have been studied in pump-probe experiments with 50fs laser pulses by photoion and photoelectron detection.

Equilibrium Temperatures of H20, C02 and NH3 Ice Grains in the Solar System

1985
The equilibrium temperatures of spherical grains of pure H20, C02 and NH3 ice in the solar system are computed at heliocentric distances ranging from 1 AU out to (> 1500 AU) where solar illumination becomes negligible compared to galactic and extra-galactic light; the grain size range is from submicron to tens of meter in diameter.

Phase Relations of the Hydroxyl Felspathoids in the System NaAlSiO4-NaOH-H20

1968
A study was made of the phase relationships in the system NaAlSiO4-NaOH-H2O, at 15,000 p.s.i. and at 450°C, 520°C, 600°C and 700°C. The following phases were found and characterised: hydroxyl varieties of nosean, sodalite and cancrinite, with formulae approximating to 3NaAlSiO4.NaOH.xH2O, 1x1.5, sodic nepheline and phase X, apparently a previously ...
