Plant Biotechnology Journal, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Apiin, an active flavonoid apioside, occurs in phylogenetically distant plants, such as parsley and chilli pepper (Capsicum annuum L.). Its sporadic distribution suggests the existence of convergent apiin biosynthesis; however, the molecular mechanisms underlying this convergence remain unclear.

NMR in Biomedicine, Volume 39, Issue 3, March 2026.We employed Metabolic Activity Diffusion Imaging [MADI] and 18FDG‐PET in rats with syngeneic RG2 glioblastoma brain tumors. MADI quantifies kio (the cellular H2O efflux rate constant), cell volume (V), and cell density (ρ), without the use of contrast agents. The kioV product quantifies the rate of water efflux per cell.
