Effect of rotational speed on friction stir spot welding of AA5052-H32/HDPE/AA5052-H32 sandwich sheets

Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 2018
Abstract Friction Stir Spot Welding (FSSW) of AA5052-H32/HDPE/AA5052-H32 sandwich sheets is performed at six different tool rotational speeds to evaluate the optimum range. The mechanical performance, hook formation, grain size, hardness and temperature distribution are evaluated.

Springback evaluation of 5052-H32 aluminum-magnesium alloy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Springback is one of the most common problems in sheet metal forming operation. It causes improper fit which creates serious problems during assembly of the parts. Based on material strength, a considerable elastic recovery during unloading can be observed. In the present study, the springback evaluation of 5052-H32 aluminum magnesium alloy sheets with

Numerical and experimental response of FSSW of AA5052-H32/epoxy/AA5052-H32 sandwich sheets with varying core properties

International Journal of Material Forming, 2020
The present work aims to assess the joint behaviour of friction stir spot welded sandwich sheets by changing the quality of the epoxy core layer. Lab scale experiments and numerical simulations are conducted for the purpose. The core property is altered by varying hardener to resin (h/r) ratio within a suitable range.

Friction stir spot welding of AA5052-H32/HDPE/AA5052-H32 sandwich sheets at varying plunge speeds

Thin-Walled Structures, 2019
Abstract The effect of plunge speed on the friction stir spot welding of AA5052-H32/HDPE/AA5052-H32 sandwich sheets is studied in the range of 2 mm/min. to 12 mm/min. The joint performance is assessed through hook geometry, grain size, hardness distribution, and temperature distribution.

Integral Transform Gaussian Wavefunctions for H32+ and H3+

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1970
Wavefunctions obtained from a particular integral transformation of 1s Gaussian orbitals were used to calculate the ground state energies of both H32+(D3h) and H3+(D3h) molecular ions. A linear combination of integral transform Gaussian-orbital–molecular-orbital (LCITGO–MO) wavefunction, with basis orbitals kν(qr) placed on the nuclei, gives for H3+ a ...

Establishment and characterization of chicken embryo fibroblast clone LSCC-H32

In Vitro, 1982
Cell line CEC-32 and clone LSCC-H32 were established from primary chicken embryo cells spontaneously but not experimentally transformed at 32 degrees C. The lines consisted of fibroblastoid and polygonal cells and had a subtetraploid karyotype of 2N = 130 to 140.
