Comparative Study of Image Denoising Using Wavelet Transforms and Optimal Threshold and Neighbouring Window

open access: yesمجلة كلية التربية للبنات, 2019
NeighShrink is an efficient image denoising algorithm based on the discrete wavelet transform (DWT). Its disadvantage is to use a suboptimal universal threshold and identical neighbouring window size in all wavelet subbands.

Combined application of continuous wavelet transform-zero crossing technique in the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of perindopril and indapamid in tablets

open access: yesQuímica Nova, 2009
Signal processing methods based on the combined use of the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) and zero-crossing technique were applied to the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of perindopril (PER) and indapamide (IND) in tablets. These signal

The Real and Complex Techniques in Harmonic Analysis from the Point of View of Covariant Transform

open access: yes, 2014
This note reviews complex and real techniques in harmonic analysis. We describe a common source of both approaches rooted in the covariant transform generated by the affine group.

Optimizing pantograph fractional differential equations: A Haar wavelet operational matrix method

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics
In this study, we developed an operational matrix method of integration using Haar wavelets to solve both linear and nonlinear pantograph fractional differential equations by taking Atangana's beta derivative.

NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF NON-LINEAR LIENARD EQUATION USING HAAR WAVELET METHOD

open access: yesPoincare Journal of Analysis and Applications
Summary: In this article, we propose the Haar wavelet method (HWM) for the numerical solution of linear and non-linear Liénard equations. This method transforms the Liénard equation into a system of algebraic equations using truncated Haar wavelet expansions, which is then solved using Newton's iteration method.
