Temperate coliphages: classification and correlation with habitats [PDF]
Temperate coliphages were recovered from sewage, mammalian feces, and lysogenic strains of Escherichia coli. A total of 32 phages of independent origin were divided into six groups by applying the criteria of host range, antigenic homology, and the ultraviolet inducibility of the prophage.

Preliminary Classification of Selected Farmland Habitats in Ireland Using Deep Neural Networks
Ireland has a wide variety of farmlands that includes arable fields, grassland, hedgerows, streams, lakes, rivers, and native woodlands. Traditional methods of habitat identification rely on field surveys, which are resource intensive, therefore there is

Classification and Mapping of Benthic Biotopes in Arctic and Sub-Arctic Norwegian Waters
In this paper, we describe the species composition of biotopes occurring in a wide range of environments and present their geographic distribution based on results from quantitative analyses of video-records collected as part of the Norwegian seabed ...

A classification scheme for deep seafloor habitats [PDF]
A standard, universally useful classification scheme for deepwater habitats needs to be established so that descriptions of these habitats can be accurately and efficiently applied among scientific disciplines. In recent years many marine benthic habitats in deep water have been described using geophysical and biological data.

Application of UAV-Based Methodology for Census of an Endangered Plant Species in a Fragile Habitat
Accurate census is essential for endangered plant management, yet lack of resources may make complete on-the-ground census difficult to achieve. Accessibility, especially for species in fragile habitats, is an added constraint.
