This figure summarizes the results of a meta‐analysis of 31 clinical trials evaluating the effects of Nigella sativa supplementation on cardiovascular risk factors. Nigella sativa supplementation was associated with significant reductions in body weight, BMI, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, and glycemic indices.
