Practical computational advantage from the quantum switch on a generalized family of promise problems [PDF]
The quantum switch is a quantum computational primitive that provides computational advantage by applying operations in a superposition of orders. In particular, it can reduce the number of gate queries required for solving promise problems where the ...

Hadamard and Conference Matrices [PDF]
The authors present a recursive construction of relative difference sets using Golay complementary pairs and, for groups of order \(2n\), another construction to obtain skew (i.e. obtained by a not necessarily abelian group) symmetric conference matrices of size \(n\) and skew Hadamard matrices.

Construction of new Hadamard matrices using known Hadamard matrices
In this paper, by the use of Latin squares, we describe a procedure to construct Hadamard matrices using the existing Hadamard matrices of order m as input matrices. We propose constructions of Hadamard matrices of orders m(m ? 1), m(m/2 ? 1) and m(m/k ? 1), where k is a multiple of four that divides m into an even number.

A Hadamard product involving inverse-positive matrices
In this paperwe study the Hadamard product of inverse-positive matrices. We observe that this class of matrices is not closed under the Hadamard product, but we show that for a particular sign pattern of the inverse-positive matrices A and B, the Hadamard

On Cocyclic Hadamard Matrices over Goethals-Seidel Loops
About twenty-five years ago, Horadam and de Launey introduced the cocyclic development of designs, from which the notion of cocyclic Hadamard matrices developed over a group was readily derived. Much more recently, it has been proved that this notion may

Determinantes: historia y resultados especiales
En este artículo, se presenta la evolución histórica del concepto de determinante; se definen las matrices de Hadamard y matrices de Hadamard normalizadas; también se define el determinante de una matriz cuadrada.

Hadamard Matrices Modulo 5 [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper, we introduce modular symmetric designs and use them to study the existence of Hadamard matrices modulo 5. We prove that there exist 5‐modular Hadamard matrices of order n if and only if or . In particular, this solves the 5‐modular version of the Hadamard conjecture.

search of hadamard matrices by turyn sequences
In this paper we study the Hadamard matrices and some algorithms to generate them. We review some theoretical aspects about Hadamard's conjecture, which asserts that every positive integer multiple of 4 is a Hadamard number.

Complex Hadamard matrices with noncommutative entries [PDF]
We axiomatize and study the matrices of type $H\in M_N(A)$, having unitary entries, $H_{ij}\in U(A)$, and whose rows and columns are subject to orthogonality type conditions.

Embedding and Extension Properties of Hadamard Matrices Revisited
Hadamard matrices have many applications in several mathematical areas due to their special form and the numerous properties that characterize them. Based on a recently developed relation between minors of Hadamard matrices and using tools from calculus ...
