The Robin problems for the coupled system of reaction–diffusion equations

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
This article investigates the local well-posedness of Turing-type reaction–diffusion equations with Robin boundary conditions in the Sobolev space. Utilizing the Hadamard norm, we derive estimates for Fokas unified transform solutions for linear initial ...

Projective surfaces not as Hadamard products and the dimensions of the Hadamard joins [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We study the dimensions of Hadamard products of $k\ge 3$ varieties if we allow to modify $k-1$ of them by the action of a general projective linear transformation. We also prove that the join of a variety not contained in a coordinate hyperplane with a ``nice'' curve always has the expected dimension.

Lagrange multiplier selection based on SATD for H.265/HEVC

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2017
In order to improve the coding performance of intra rough mode decision,a SATD-based Lagrange multiplier selection algorithm was proposed for H.265/HEVC.The characteristic of Hadamard transform was first analyzed, and following the new Lagrange multiplier

PAPR reduction of optical OFDM signals in visible light communications

open access: yesICT Express, 2019
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is extensively used in optical communications to achieve high rate transmission. In this paper, Vandermonde like matrix (VLM) pre-coding approach is offered to reduce the high peak-to-average power ratio (

Semi-fragile watermark algorithm based on Walsh-Hadamard transformand and convolution coding

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2009
A semi-fragile watermark algorithm based on the Walsh-Hadamard transform and convolution coding was proposed. In this algorithm, the watermark content of the host image was extracted by differential coding and convolution coding respectively based on the

Fast reconstructed and high-quality ghost imaging with fast Walsh–Hadamard transform

Photonics Research, 2016
In this paper, we propose a ghost imaging scheme with fast Walsh–Hadamard transform, named GIFWHT. In the scheme, Walsh–Hadamard pattern pairs are used to illuminate an object to generate pairs of detection results, and the corresponding differential ...
