Nonperturbative quantum chromodynamic vacuum and hadron–hadron scattering

We investigate the influence of the gluon condensate upon hadron–hadron scattering at intermediate transverse momenta (pT). We treat the gluon condensate as an external field, and we calculate the gluon propagator in such an external field using the heat-kernel expansion.

We propose generalized geometrical scaling for elastic hadron-hadron scattering which has the scaling dimensional parameter [radical][sigma][sub [ital t]]/[kappa]([ital x]) , [kappa]([ital x]) being a function of the elasticity [ital x] characteristic of the form of the eikonal.

A QCD Based Model of Hadron Hadron Scattering

The leading log approximation to Quantum Chromodynamics is derived, including the effects of gluon spin. The use of the leading log approximation in simulating Quantum Chromodynamic events is described. Models for the formation of hadrons from quarks and gluons are reviewed.
