Forward hadron-hadron scattering at high energy

Pramana, 1982
The high energy elastic scattering of pp,\(p\bar p\), pπ+, pπ−, pk+ andpk − processes is studied at forward directions. The expressions for total scattering cross-sections and the ratios of real-to-imaginary parts of the forward amplitude are derived inP+f model. For the Regge part of the scattering amplitude, the standard form is taken.

Hadron-Hadron and Hadron-Nucleus Scattering

1993
In this contribution we discuss two problems in the physics of strong interactions. These problems are intended to introduce the reader to two important and active areas of research in the field of theoretical nuclear physics.

Femtoscopy correlation functions and hadron-hadron scattering amplitudes in presence of Coulomb potential

This work addresses the incorporation of Coulomb interactions into femtoscopy correlation functions (CFs) used to probe hadron interactions. Combining strong contact potentials with Coulomb effects, the derived scattering amplitudes and wave functions ...

Asymptotic properties of elastic hadron-hadron diffraction scattering amplitude

Physical Review D, 2000
A general method of the asymptotic expansion for elastic hadron-hadron diffraction scattering amplitudes is presented in the impact-parameter representation. The asymptotic series for the scattering amplitude is given in terms of the black-disk amplitude and its successive derivatives with respect to the black-disk radius by assuming only physically ...

Multiplicity moments at low and high energy in hadron-hadron scattering

Lettere Al Nuovo Cimento Series 2, 1974
A phenomenological investigation is made of the relation obtained by Weingarten for the multiplicity moments in hadron -hadron interactions. The predictions are compared with moments computed from the experimental data, over a wide energy range, of the reactions pp, pp, pi /sup approximately /p, and K/sup approximately /p. (LBS)

Nonperturbative quantum chromodynamic vacuum and hadron–hadron scattering

Canadian Journal of Physics, 1988
We investigate the influence of the gluon condensate upon hadron–hadron scattering at intermediate transverse momenta (pT). We treat the gluon condensate as an external field, and we calculate the gluon propagator in such an external field using the heat-kernel expansion.
