Measurement of differential cross sections for Σ+p elastic scattering in the momentum range 0.44–0.80 GeV/c

Progress of Theoretical and Experimental Physics, 2022
We performed a novel Σ+p scattering experiment at the J-PARC Hadron Experimental Facility. Approximately 2400 Σ+p elastic scattering events were identified from 4.9 × 107 tagged Σ+ particles in the Σ+ momentum range 0.44–0.80 GeV/c.

Generalized geometrical scaling behavior of elastic hadron-hadron scattering amplitudes at high energies.

Physical Review D, Particles and fields, 1993
A detailed comparison of the generalized geometrical scaling (GGS) hypothesis for elastic hadron-hadron scattering amplitudes is made with the measurements of differential cross sections of [ital pp] and [ital [bar p]p] scattering as well as [pi][sup ...

Elastic Hadron Hadron Scattering at Ultrahigh-energies and Existence of Many Dips

, 1979
Recent experiments on high-energy, large-$t$ elastic $\mathrm{pp}$ scattering are discussed in the context of the geometrical picture. Detailed computations for elastic $\mathrm{pp}$, $\ensuremath{\pi}p$, and $\ensuremath{\pi}\ensuremath{\pi ...

Study of a multi-pinhole collimation system based small-angle neutron scattering instrument at the Compact Pulsed Hadron Source

Journal of Applied Crystallography, 2018
The neutron flux of the Compact Pulsed Hadron Source (CPHS) is about 2–3 orders of magnitude lower than that of large neutron sources, which means that the beam intensity should be improved to achieve good statistics.

Structure functions and partondistributions in deep nelasticlepton-hadron scattering athigh energies1

, 1993
The possibilities to measure structure functions, to extract parton distributions, and to measure αS and ΛQCD in current and future high energy deep inelastic scattering experiments are reviewed.

Polarized lepton‐hadron scattering

, 1979
Within the past 10 years high energy polarized lepton‐hadron scattering experiments have contributed important tests of invariance principles and a new type of information about the internal spin structure of the nucleon.

Derivation of inelasticity distribution for hadron-hadron collisions in a gluon-gluon interaction picture.

Physical Review Letters, 1985
The inelasticity distribution and energy loss of leading particles, which are essential ingredients in statistical models for multiparticle production processes and the phase transition from hadronic to quark-gluon matter, have been calculated in an ...

Longitudinal structure functions in high-energy lepton-hadron scattering

, 1977
The ratio of longitudinal to transverse structure functions at high energies, hitherto unmeasured, can be determined from the present generation of muon-hadron scattering experiments.

High- p T hadron-hadron correlations in vacuum and in matter

, 2006
Two-particle correlations within a single jet produced in deeply inelastic scattering (DIS) off a large nucleus as well as in heavy-ion collisions are studied.
