Haemaphysalis juxtakochi

Haemaphysalis juxtakochi Kohls (1960) first recorded the identity of H. juxtakochi, collected by T.H.G. Aitken on 24 June 1954 from Cumaca, Trinidad. This tick parasitizes deer (Mazama rufa) and paca (Coelogenys paca). Keirans (1982) also recorded this tick from Caparo, Trinidad.
