Anisotropic Masked Mycobacterium Potentiates Amplified Antitumor Trained Immunity via Spleen Targeting and Myelopoiesis Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An engineered Trojan Mycobacterium, developed via a “peeling‐off and masking‐up” strategy, functions as a powerful splenic myelopoiesis converter. This spleen‐targeted nanomedicine induces trained immunity to reprogram immunosuppressive myeloid reservoirs into antitumoral effectors.

Conformal Thermoreversible Gelatin‐Based Gel for High‐Fidelity Electrophysiological Recording and Acute Peripheral Nerve Interfacing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A thermoreversible gelatin‐based gel forms a soft, conformal bioelectronic interface on complex biological surfaces. The flowable precursor penetrates hair‐dense regions, solidifies in situ, and maintains low impedance through adaptive contact and hydration retention.

Blood vessel invasion in breast cancer. A comparison of haematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemical staining for factor VIII antigen for their prognostic value concerning tumour recurrence TUMORGEFASSINVASION BEIM MAMMAKARZINOM. HAMATOXYLIN-EOSIN- VERSUS IMMUNHISTOCHEMISCHE FARBUNG GEGEN FAKTOR-VIII-ANTIGEN [PDF]

open access: yes, 1994
Blood vessel invasion was investigated with haematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining and immunohistochemical staining for factor VIII antigen (F VIII) in 106 patients with primary carcinoma of the breast, in order to compare their value in prognosticating the ...

Comparison of staining of mitotic figures by haematoxylin and eosin-and crystal violet stains, in oral epithelial dysplasia and squamous cell carcinoma

open access: yesIndian Journal of Dental Research, 2007
Mitosis of cells gives rise to tissue integrity. Defects during mitosis bring about abnormalities. Excessive proliferation of cells due to increased mitosis is one such outcome, which is the hallmark in precancer and cancer.

Stromal‐Derived IL‐8 Promotes M2 Macrophage Polarization via the RhoA/MRTF‐A/SRF Transcriptional Axis to Impair CD8+ T Cell Cytotoxicity in Lung Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the recondite pulmonary neoplastic milieu, DESMIN+ cancer‐associated fibroblasts function as the paramount stromal source of IL‐8, precipitating a deleterious immunological metamorphosis by engaging CXCR2 receptors on the myeloid lineage. This paracrine stimulus triggers a mechanotransduction cascade characterized by RhoA‐dependent actin ...

Inhibition of IGFBP4 in Granulosa Cells Improves Reproductive Performance and Maintains Fertility With Age via YAP Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGFBP4 is upregulated in granulosa cells of aged ovaries across monkeys, mice, and humans. It inhibits YAP signaling, thereby suppressing cell proliferation and contributing to follicular dysfunction. Deletion of Igfbp4 in granulosa cells enhances ovulatory output, improves hormone profiles, and reproductive performance in aged female mice, suggesting ...

A Pentaradial and Bilateral Combined Photoreception System in the Sea Cucumber is Mediated by a Blue Light‐Sensitive R‐Opsin

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The sea cucumber Holothuria leucospilota detects blue and adjacent wavelengths of light via an r‐opsin with a maximum absorption at 459 nm. In the oral tentacles, papillae, and tube feet, distinct light‐sensing structures with specialized morphologies are formed, constituting a unique pentaradial and bilateral combined photoreception system.

Genome‐Wide CRISPR Screen Identifies a microRNA Orchestrating Pleiotropic Resistance to Targeted Therapy and T Cell Immunity in Melanoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A genome‐wide microRNA CRISPR screen identifies miR‐18a as a master regulator of cross‐resistance in melanoma. Loss of miR‐18a activates the AJUBA–YAP/Hippo axis to confer BRAFi resistance and enhances THBS1–CD47 interaction to impair CD8+ T cell immunity. hnRNP A1 is identified as an upstream regulator of miR‐18a processing.

Agnuside Stabilizes the Complex I Assembly Factor NDUFAF6 to Reinforce Mitochondrial Efficiency and Thermogenic Responsiveness

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Brown and beige adipocytes dissipate energy as heat, yet effective strategies to enhance their mitochondrial efficiency remain limited. Here, we identify Agnuside (AGN) as a selective stabilizer of the complex I assembly factor NDUFAF6. AGN directly binds cytosolic NDUFAF6, suppresses its ubiquitination, prolongs its half‐life, and facilitates

Biyolojik materyalin histolojik preparasyonunda blok haematoxylin-eosin boyasının geliştirilmesi çalışmaları

open access: yes, 1989
