در این پژوهش پس از واکاوی مبانی فلسفه رواقی، کوشیده‌ایم تا ضمن آشنایی با فنون روانشناختی و رهنمودهای رواقی به بررسی غزلیات حافظ و یافتن رد‌پای فلسفه رواقی در شعر وی بپردازیم و جنبه‌ای دیگر از گستره نظام اندیشگی حافظ را آشکار نماییم. از این‌رو با نظر به فنون رواقی یعنی تجسم منفی، دوگانگی کنترل، تقدیرگرایی... و رهنمودهایی چون پرهیز از خشم، غصه، شهرت‌طلبی.
