Aluminum dynamics in nitrogen‐saturated Andisols in Tokyo

Atmospheric nitrogen (N) deposition in throughfall has decreased in forests around the Tokyo metropolitan area. The present study was conducted to elucidate the effect of decreased nitrogen deposition on aluminum (Al) dynamics in a forested allophanic Andisols. Mobilization of Al tended to decrease, in particular in the Japanese cedar stand.
