Direct observation of the 218Po alpha-peak decay with a microcomputer-controlled alpha-spectrometer yielded a mean half-life value of 3.040 +/- 0.008 min, where the error quoted represents twice the standard deviation of the means from 38 separate decay measurements.

Determination of 161Tb half-life by three measurement methods.
Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2020The radiolanthanide 161Tb is being studied as an alternative to 177Lu for targeted radionuclide tumor therapy. Both β--particle emitters show similar chemical behavior and decay characteristics, but 161Tb delivers additional conversion and Auger electron

This work measured the half life of radioisotope (175)Hf, which was produced by neutron activation method at the ZF-300-II Intense Neutron Generator in Lanzhou University. The half life of (175)Hf, measured by γ-ray spectrometry using a well calibrated GEM-60P coaxial High Purity Germanium (HPGe) detector, has been found to be 70.65±0.19 days.

Abstract Precise measurements have been made of the half-life of P32 produced by both the S32 (n, p) P32 and P31 (n, γ)P32 reactions. Consideration has been given to systematic errors including possible radiochemical impurities and a value of 14.290 days is obtained for the half-life of P32 with a statistical error of ±0.014 days evaluated at one ...

Exploring the half-life of glyphosate in human urine samples.
International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health, 2019BACKGROUND The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has recently classified glyphosate as a Group 2A 'probably carcinogenic to humans'. Due to this carcinogenic classification and resulting international debate, there is an increased demand

The half-life of the positron-emitter (18)F has been measured by following the decay rate with three systems: ionization chambers, Ge detectors and coincidence with fast scintillators. The decay rate was measured for periods of time up to 9 half-lives.

Half life of 135Sb and evidence on the half life of 134Sb
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1964Abstract A search for delayed-neutron precursors among the short-lived antimony fission products was unsuccessful. This result suggested that either (1) the neutron branching of the possible precursors 134 Sb and 135 Sb is extremely small or (2) that the half lives of those isotopes are much shorter than the upper limits previously reported (45 and
