Environ Microbiol RepScreening of ESBL‐, pAmpC‐ and carbapenemase‐producing Escherichia coli among Swedish wildlife demonstrated a low occurrence of antibiotic resistance in wild animals. Only two ESBL/pAmpC‐producers were detected in red foxes originating from highly populated areas.
