Magnetic Anisotropy Modulation via van der Waals Gap Engineering in 2D Ferromagnet Fe4GeTe2
This study demonstrates a new route to control magnetic anisotropy in 2D ferromagnets via van der Waals gap engineering. In Fe4GeTe2, an interface‐induced vdW gap expansion is found to anomalously enhance in‐plane magnetic anisotropy while suppressing the spin reorientation transition.

A computationally designed, cobalt‐free maraging steel tailored for additive manufacturing achieves an ultra‐high tensile strength of 2.3 GPa with 5.7% elongation. This exceptional strength‐ductility synergy stems from high‐density core‐shell Ni3Ti/NiAl nanoprecipitates, a crack‐resistant composition, and a fine equiaxed grain structure enabled by ...

Transient Antiskyrmion‐Mediated Topological Transitions in Isotropic Magnets
A transient antiskyrmion‐mediated pathway that drives repeated stripe‐to‐skyrmion transitions is revealed, producing a net increase in topological charge in isotropic Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction films. Experiments and simulations identify the antiskyrmion as a metastable excitation, enabling stochastic bitstream generation for probabilistic ...

The creation of ruled surfaces in a hall of mirrors
Abstract: Atwo-mirror laser scanner, utilising rotating mirrors to direct a fixed laser, generates a two-degree-of-freedom line set: a two-mirror congruence. Thiscongruence, formedbytherulingsofcoaxialhyperboloids, enablesthe creation of diverse ruled surfaces. We present a user-friendly application for interactive mirror manipulation, allowing dynamic
