Contributions to Plasma Physics, 2006AbstractFor the first time a two dimensional axisymmetric fully kinetic Particle‐in‐Cell/Monte Carlo Collision (PICMCC) model is used to describe the start‐up transient of the acceleration channel in a Hall thruster.
