Abstract In this study, the interfacial tension behavior of halloysite nanotube (HNT) as a hydrophilic nanoparticle and modified APTES-HNT as a hydrophobic nanoparticle at the palm oil-water interface was investigated. The result of this study was used to determine the stability and potential formation of Pickering emulsion as a novel dispersed ...

Structure of prismatic halloysite
American Mineralogist, 2013The crystal structure of halloysite, despite being one of the most commonly occurring clay minerals on the Earth’s surface, remains elusive. This paper reports on a multi-methodological study to shed more light on the atomic arrangement of halloysite from Olkhon Island, Lake Baikal, Russia, which has a prismatic morphology.

Halloysite in Deltaic Alluvium
Transactions of the Indian Ceramic Society, 1986Among the clay minerals present in the deltaic alluvium of Manmathanagar soil (West Bengal), the presence of halloysite has been detected in the fifth horizon with the help of transmission electron microscopy. This seems to be the first report on halloysite in deltaic alluvium.
