This work prepares nanocomposite gel polymer electrolytes (NCGPEs) using poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) that are first modified with γ‐(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate (γ‐MPS) and subsequently grafted with PMMA (mHNT‐g‐PMMA).

Under an alternating electric field, the lithiated halloysite nanotubes (HNTs–SO₃Li) self‐assemble into a perpendicular orientation, creating continuous pathways with low tortuosity that markedly enhance room‐temperature ionic conductivity. The shortened diffusion path within this alignment enables rapid Li⁺ transport, while the establishment of a ...

Hyperbranched Molecular Brush Membrane for Efficient and Antifouling Oil‐Water Emulsion Separation
This work develops a carboxyl‐terminated hyperbranched molecular brush‐modified membrane that exhibits superhydrophilicity, underwater superoleophobicity, and a strong negative charge. The membrane achieves high efficiency, superior antifouling performance, and stable separation of oil‐in‐water emulsions across a wide pH range.

Green conditions for the Suzuki reaction using microwave irradiation and a new HNT- supported ionic liquid-like phase (HNT-SILLP) catalyst [PDF]
A new catalytic system based on modified halloysite nanotubes was employed in the Suzuki reaction under microwave irradi- ation. A set of solvents, times and bases was screened and the best experimental conditions were obtained when the reactions were ...

Colloidal stability of halloysite clay nanotubes
The colloidal stability of halloysite clay nanotubes dispersion is reviewed showing the strategy and the mechanism to obtain stable systems in water and apolar solvents. The selective modification of halloysite inner/outer surfaces can be achieved by exploiting electrostatic interactions. The adsorption of anionic surfactants onto the halloysite cavity
