A Redefinition of the Halo Boundary Leads to a Simple yet Accurate Halo Model of Large Scale Structure [PDF]
We present a model for the halo--mass correlation function that explicitly incorporates halo exclusion. We assume that halos trace mass in a way that can be described using a single scale-independent bias parameter. However, our model exhibits scale dependent biasing due to the impact of halo-exclusion, the use of a ``soft'' (i.e. not infinitely sharp)

The Use and Complications of Halo Gravity Traction in Children with Scoliosis
Scoliosis is one of the most frequent spine deformities encountered in children and is regularly discovered after 15 years of age with a girls to boys ratio of 2:1. Vertebral arthrodesis involves both short and long term complications.

Satellite Luminosities in Galaxy Groups
Halo model interpretations of the luminosity dependence of galaxy clustering assume that there is a central galaxy in every sufficiently massive halo, and that this central galaxy is very different from all the others in the halo.

Minimizing the stochasticity of halos in large-scale structure surveys [PDF]
In recent work (Seljak, Hamaus and Desjacques 2009) it was found that weighting central halo galaxies by halo mass can significantly suppress their stochasticity relative to the dark matter, well below the Poisson model expectation.

Reexamination of Mysticism in the Principles of Persian Miniatures Representing Muhammad’s (P.B.U.H.) Ascension [PDF]
One can observe many Islamic and mystic representations in Persian miniatures the most salient of which are scenes depicting the Muhammad’s (P.B.U.H.) ascension (Miraj).

Globular Clusters in the Outer Halo of M31
In this paper, we present photometry of 53 globular clusters (GCs) in the M31 outer halo, including the {\sl GALEX} FUV and NUV, SDSS $ugriz$, 15 intermediate-band filters of BATC, and 2MASS $JHK_{\rm s}$ bands.

Borromean halo, Tango halo, and halo isomers in atomic nuclei [PDF]
Structure of the ground and excited states in halo-like nuclei is discussed. Both the Borromean and tango halo types can be observed for n-p configurations of atomic nuclei.Structure of the halo may be different for the different levels and resonances in atomic nuclei.

Recovering cores and cusps in dark matter haloes using mock velocity field observations [PDF]
We present mock DensePak Integral Field Unit (IFU) velocity fields, rotation curves, and halo fits for disc galaxies formed in spherical and triaxial cuspy dark matter haloes, and spherical cored dark matter haloes. The simulated galaxies are "observed" under a variety of realistic conditions to determine how well the underlying dark matter halo can be
