Halogen adsorption and reaction with Bi$_2$(Se,Te)$_3$ and Bi/Bi$_2$(Se,Te)$_3$ [PDF]
Bi$_2$Se$_3$ and Bi$_2$Te$_3$, and these same surfaces covered with Bi films, are exposed to Br$_2$ and Cl$_2$ in ultra-high vacuum. Low energy electron diffraction (LEED) and low energy ion scattering (LEIS) are used to investigate the surface composition before and after halogen exposure.

Thermal Processing Creates Water‐Stable PEDOT:PSS Films for Bioelectronics
Instead of using chemical cross–linkers, it is shown that PEDOT:PSS thin films for bioelectronics become water‐stable after a simple heat treatment. The heat treatment is compatible with a range of rigid and elastomeric substrates and films are stable in vivo for >20 days.

1.4% External Quantum Efficiency 988 nm Light Emitting Diode Based on Tin‐Lead Halide Perovskite
The tin‐lead based halide perovskite film with the 3‐AMP passivate exhibits a significantly longer carrier lifetime of over 1 µs compared to the neat films (0.43 µs). The optimized tin‐lead halide perovskite LEDs show a single emission peak at 988 nm and an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of ≈1.4%.

Halogens and the chemistry of the free troposphere [PDF]
The role of halogens in both the marine boundary layer and the stratosphere has long been recognized, while their role in the free troposphere is often not considered in global chemical models.

Iodine‐Doped Sodium Vanadate Cathode for Improved Zn Ion Diffusion Kinetics
An iodine‐doping strategy is developed to modify the Na2V6O16·3H2O cathode for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries, effectively reducing the electrostatic interaction between zinc ions and the host structure. This modification enables faster diffusion and higher storage capacity of zinc ions. Abstract The electrostatic interaction between zinc ions and the host
