HaASR2 from Haloxylon ammodendron confers drought and salt tolerance in plants

Plant Science, 2023
Abscisic acid (ABA), stress, and ripening-induced proteins (ASR), which belong to the ABA/WDS domain superfamily, are involved in the plant response to abiotic stresses. Haloxylon ammodendron is a succulent xerohalophyte species that exhibits strong resistance to abiotic stress. In this study, we isolated HaASR2 from H. ammodendron and demonstrated its

AFLP analysis on genetic diversity of Haloxylon ammodendron in China

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2014
To determine the genetic diversity of Haloxylon ammodendron collected from 14 sites in 5 provinces, 103 H. ammodendron samples of 12 wild populations and 2 cultivated which collected from 14 sites in 5 provinces were analyzed by amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) DNA markers.

Growth simulation for a desert shrub Haloxylon ammodendron

2010 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing, 2010
A revised dual-scale automation was developed to simulate plant architecture of a desert shrub, Haloxylon ammodendron, according to its morphological characteristics. The above-ground part was simulated by a basic structural unit of shoot which was simplified from the internodal segment and squama (the degraded leaf).

Genetic diversity and environmental associations of sacsaoul ( Haloxylon ammodendron )

SPIE Proceedings, 2003
Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers were used to assess levels and patterns of genetic diversity in H. ammodendron (Chenopodiaceae). A total of 117 plants from 6 subpopulations on oasis-desert ecotone was analyzed by 16 arbitrarily chosen primers resulting in highly reproducible RAPD bands.
