A variety of hamartomatous lesions have been described in the sinonasal tract. These include respiratory epithelial adenomatoid hamartoma (REAH), seromucinous hamartoma (SH), and nasal chondromesenchymal hamartoma (NCMH). REAH and SH, demonstrate significant morphologic overlap with each other and with reactive conditions, while also being described to

Pancreatic hamartoma is a rare benign lesion and may be mistaken for a malignancy, as demonstrated by two cases. The first case was a 29-year-old man who presented with a 7-month history of intermittent upper abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting and a 15-kg weight loss. CT and MRI revealed a mass in the head of the pancreas.

We present the findings in a man with longstanding airway obstruction attributed to chronic obstructive bronchopulmonary disease. After hospitalization, a tracheal hamartoma was found and resected, without complications. Symptoms of chronic airway obstruction can cause the physician to treat medically a surgically curable lesion.

We describe a rare case of extrapulmonary hamartoma. A 65-year-old man underwent video-assisted thoracic surgery to obtain a histological diagnosis of a tumor with an irregular shape in the subpleural region of the right apical segment. Thoracoscopy showed a chondromatous tumor in the extrapleural region. The tumor resection was uneventful.
