14‐3‐3γ Protects Against Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction by Regulating Tau Thr205 Phosphorylation and Synaptic Integrity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrative multi‐cohort analyses identify 14‐3‐3γ as a biomarker and regulator of cognitive vulnerability. Experimental studies show that 14‐3‐3γ loss is associated with Tau Thr205 phosphorylation, synaptic dysfunction, and cognitive impairment, while genetic overexpression or pharmacological stabilization of 14‐3‐3γ confers protective effects in ...

Nonlinear forced vibration analysis of FG-CNTRC plates based on the 3D elasticity

open access: yesComposites Part C: Open Access
In this article, an efficient numerical approach is developed to study the primary resonant dynamics of rectangular plates with arbitrary boundary conditions made of functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composites (FG-CNTRCs).

Ultrahigh Interfacial Thermal Conductance across GaN/BAs Interfaces via Atomic‐Level Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The integration of gallium nitride (GaN) with ultrahigh‐thermal‐conductivity boron arsenide (BAs) substrates represents a promising pathway for developing next‐generation high‐power devices. The heat dissipation capability of such integrated systems is fundamentally governed by thermal transport across GaN/BAs interfaces, and buffer layers such as ...

Adaptive Network Stabilization Despite Profound Structural Reorganization in Human Organotypic Cultures

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Adult human organotypic cortical slices undergo marked neuronal loss, laminar disruption, and glial activation, yet their network activity progressively stabilizes after a variable period. Electrophysiology, longitudinal calcium imaging, and quantitative histology show that structurally remodeled human circuits show adaptive capacity resulting in ...

Mathematical models of nonlinear longitudinal-cross oscillations of object with moving borders

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2015
The nonlinear formulation of problems for describing longitudinal-cross oscillations of objects with moving borders is noted. These mathematical models consist of a system of two nonlinear partial differential equations with the higher time derivative of

Printing‐Assisted Integration of Thermal, Fluidic and Electrical Components in Implants for Focal Brain Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Extrusion‐based 3D printing of silicones and discrete electronic components are combined to create cortical implants for rodents that integrate thermal neuromodulation and electrical recording. Linked to an autonomous auxiliary driver unit, the system enables rapid, stable and localized hypothermia alongside ECoG recording.

Determining the Relationship Between Composition, Structure, and Device Properties of GexSe1‐x‐Based Selector‐Only Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Composition‐dependent structural evolution in GeXSe1‐X selector‐only memory (SOM) is correlated with device switching behavior. Increasing Ge strengthens network rigidity, suppresses atomic motion, and stabilizes threshold switching, while narrowing the memory window. The revealed structure–property relationship provides a guideline for compositionally

Stabilizing Functional Nucleic Acids for Real‐Sample Diagnostics

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Functional nucleic acids enable programmable real‐sample diagnostics, but often lose function in complex biological matrices. This review highlights four stabilization levers—chemical, topological, architectural, and microenvironment/interface engineering—that preserve aptamer and DNAzyme performance in saliva, serum, urine, and stool, reframing ...

The Influence of Boundary Constraint Viscoelasticity on the Nonlinear Forced Vibration of Fluid-Conveying Layered Pipes

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings
In this paper, the influence of the viscoelasticity of boundary constraints on the forced vibration of the nonlinear forced resonance of a fluid-conveying layered pipe under an external forced excitation is studied.
