Local bulk operators in AdS/CFT: A holographic description of the black hole interior

, 2006
To gain insight into how bulk locality emerges from the holographic conformal field theory, we reformulate the bulk to boundary map in as local a way as possible.

ALMOST STABILITY OF HAMILTON'S EQUATIONS WITH QUASIPERIODIC OPERATOR COEFFICIENTS

Mathematics of the USSR-Sbornik, 1970
This article studies a hamiltonian equation in Hilbert space which differs by only small quasiperiodic perturbations from equations with constant coefficients with several special properties. Necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for strong formal stability of the hamiltonian equation with constant coefficients within some class of ...

Quantum mechanical momentum operators and Hamilton’s variational principle

American Journal of Physics, 1976
The Euler–Lagrange equations in classical field theory are not covariant with respect to a transformation of independent variables. A modified covariant version of these equations is presented. The modification consists of replacing the partial derivative ∂/∂qi by the Hermitian quantum mechanical momentum operator pi conjugate to the coordinate qi ...

On the single valuedness of Hamilton-Jacobi operators

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 1986
We study some properties of Dini subdifferentials and their relations with upper contingent derivative of a function. The results are applied to the problem of single-valuedness of Hamilton-Jacobi operators.

[Hamilton's operation in Bland-White-Garland syndrome].

Kyobu geka. The Japanese journal of thoracic surgery, 1990
A 14-year-old boy, who had been treated medically for mitral regurgitation, underwent cardiac catheterization which revealed not only mitral regurgitation but also anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery. Thus he was diagnosed as Bland-White-Garland syndrome which was repaired by Hamilton's operation.

High Altitude/Cold Weather Operation of Hamilton Standard Propellers

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1969
<div class="htmlview paragraph">Aircraft propellers normally operate at extremes of environmental temperature. Specification of lubricants for these highly stressed and precision machined mechanisms has evolved over the past forty years, with the requirements for each generation of propellers becoming increasingly stringent.

Cayley-hamilton theorem, vector bundles and divisors of commuting operators

Integral Equations and Operator Theory, 1983
We construct a complete system of unitary invariants for some classes of commuting operators which include finite matrices, integral and differential operators. These invariants closely connected with the theory of determinantal curves and related vector bundles.

Quaternions, Hamilton Operators, and Kinematics of Mechanical Systems

13th Design Automation Conference: Volume 2 — Robotics, Mechanisms, and Machine Systems, 1987
Abstract In this paper, quaternions are briefly reviewed and their associated matrix algebra is developed. Two Hamilton operators are defined and some of their properties are studied. The properties of these operators are then applied to find kinematic relations of a body undergoing spatial rotation and to find a recursive relation for ...
