Engineering a Sonotherapeutic RBC Membrane‐Derived Nanoparticle Platform for the Treatment of Liver Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Herein, an RBC membrane‐derived nanoparticle (CMN‐ICG) is engineered to efficiently deliver a sonosensitizing agent, indocyanine green (ICG), for sonotherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). CMN‐ICG exhibits excellent cytocompatibility, significantly enhances hepatocyte uptake, and produces excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon ultrasound ...

QUANTIZATION OF THE SPHERICALLY SYMMETRIC CONFIGURATION OF THE GRAVITATIONAL AND ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2017
To construct a quantum model of a charged black hole (CBH), we introduce a modified description of the configuration of the electromagnetic and gravitational fields in a spherically symmetric space-time, which consists of T- and R- regions.

Theory‐Guided Design of Non‐Precious Single‐Atom Catalyst for Electrocatalytic Chlorine Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
To overcome the reliance on noble metals for the chlorine evolution reaction (CER), we designed a non‐precious single‐atom catalyst (SAC), NiN3O–O. It achieves a low overpotential of 75 mV, 95.8% Cl2 selectivity, and outperforms commercial dimensionally stable anodes (DSAs).

Holographic Trace Anomaly and Local Renormalization Group

open access: yes, 2015
The Hamilton-Jacobi method in holography has produced important results both at a renormalization group (RG) fixed point and away from it. In this paper we use the Hamilton-Jacobi method to compute the holographic trace anomaly for four- and six ...

The brachistochrone problem in open quantum systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Recently, the quantum brachistochrone problem is discussed in the literature by using non-Hermitian Hamilton operators of different type. Here, it is demonstrated that the passage time is tunable in realistic open quantum systems due to the ...

Local bulk operators in AdS/CFT correspondence : A boundary view of horizons and locality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We develop the representation of local bulk fields in anti-de Sitter (AdS) space by nonlocal operators on the boundary, working in the semiclassical limit and using ${\mathrm{AdS}}_{2}$ as our main example. In global coordinates we show that the boundary

Spin‐Dependent Generation of Surface‐Bound Radicals Toward Selective and Long‐Lasting Water Purification

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study develops a novel atomic engineering strategy to fine‐tune the spin state of α‐Fe2O3 catalysts toward a medium‐spin state, thereby modulating peroxymonosulfate activation and selectively yielding surface‐bound radicals. Compared with free radicals, surface‐bound radicals exhibit moderated oxidation potential, extended lifespan, surface ...

Kinematic Mapping in Semi-Euclidean 4-Space

open access: yesDüzce Üniversitesi Bilim ve Teknoloji Dergisi, 2014
We study the some algebraic properties of matrix associated to Hamilton operators is defined for semi-quaternions. The kinematic mapping corresponding to these operators in semi-Euclidean 4-space is same as the kinematic mapping of Blaschke and Grünwald ...

Subelliptic Estimates for Overdetermined Systems of Quadratic Differential Operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We prove global subelliptic estimates for systems of quadratic differential operators. Quadratic differential operators are operators defined in the Weyl quantization by complex-valued quadratic symbols.
