Nonautonomous Linear Hamiltonian Systems: Oscillation, Spectral Theory and Control
This book is devoted to a study of the oscillation theory of nonautonomous linear Hamiltonian systems and that of a spectral theory adapted to such systems. Some methods of topological dynamics and ergodic theory, including Lyapunov exponents, exponential dichotomies, and rotation numbers are applied to this study.

Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems, 1995The concept of a piecewise smooth Hamiltonian system, motivated by optimal control theory, is introduced and developed. It is proved that the Poisson bracket of two integrals of such a system is globally continuous. Integrable piecewise smooth systems are proved to be equivalent to smooth integrable systems.
