Hamiltonian of SU(2) lattice gauge theory in approximate tridiagonal form

Physical Review D, 1994
Employing Hamiltonian moments of SU(2) lattice gauge theory, with respect to the strong coupling vacuum, the matrix elements of the Lanczos tridiagonal form are written down from the plaquette expansion to order 1/[ital N][sub [ital p]][sup 2] in the number of plaquettes, [ital N][sub [ital p]]. The consequences of this approximate tridiagonal form are

Continuum limit of exactly solvable Hamiltonian in lattice gauge theory

Physical Review D, 1991
We investigate the modified lattice gauge Hamiltonian proposed by Guo, Zheng, and Liu, whose vacuum wave function is known exactly. The result strongly suggests that the Hamiltonian does not have the correct continuum limit in either (2+1)-dimensional or (3+1)-dimensional space-time.

Hamiltonian lattice calculations on gauge and chiral meson field theories

2008
I review Hamiltonian lattice calculations on SU(N) gauge theories and present some recent results on chiral meson field theories. A common theme in both is the study of collective excitations, corresponding to glueball masses in gauge theories and vector meson masses in chiral meson field theories. In the case of the non-linear sigma model, I show that
