Exploring the Interplay of Lattice Dynamics and Charge Transport in Organic Semiconductors: Progress Toward Rational Phonon Engineering

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 26, June 24, 2025.
This Minireview highlights recent advances in understanding the role of lattice dynamics and electron–phonon coupling in organic semiconductors. Emphasis is placed on mode‐resolved insights into dynamics‐induced electronic disorder, emerging strategies for phonon engineering, and the implications of both low‐ and high‐frequency vibrations on charge ...

A passive convex optimal control algorithm for teleoperating a redundant robotic arm in minimally invasive surgery

open access: yesInternational Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, Volume 35, Issue 10, Page 4132-4148, 10 July 2025.
Abstract In recent years, the remote center of motion (RCM) constraint has moved from purely mechanical to software implementation, enabling the use of serial manipulators in robotic‐assisted minimal invasive surgery. However, ensuring safety with software‐based RCM presents challenges.

Improving the Convergence of Markov Chains via Permutations and Projections

open access: yesRandom Structures &Algorithms, Volume 66, Issue 4, July 2025.
ABSTRACT This paper aims at improving the convergence to equilibrium of finite ergodic Markov chains via permutations and projections. First, we prove that a specific mixture of permuted Markov chains arises naturally as a projection under the KL divergence or the squared‐Frobenius norm.
