Nerve conduction in relation to vibration exposure - a non-positive cohort study
Background Peripheral neuropathy is one of the principal clinical disorders in workers with hand-arm vibration syndrome. Electrophysiological studies aimed at defining the nature of the injury have provided conflicting results.

We present a large‐area bidirectional human–machine interface integrating electrostatic multimodal tactile sensing with a dual‐resonant haptic actuator. The system enables linear pressure sensing that is decoupled from actuation and stable broadband vibrotactile feedback under dynamic contact conditions, supporting real‐time feedback modulation aligned

Time‐varying electric fields can activate solid‐state devices such as LEDs and capacitors for energy harvesting and powering in open circuits. The response of solid‐state devices to time‐varying electric fields caused by vibrations can be utilised for smart sensing of human motions and object vibrations.

Risks of occupational exposures to hand-transmitted vibration: VIBRISKS
VIBRISKS seeks to improve understanding of the risk of injury from hand-transmitted vibration and whole-body vibration by means of epidemiological studies supported by fundamental laboratory research.

Using the blood coagulation factors as a predictor component of the occupational vibration exposure
Background: Exposure to hand–arm vibrations higher than permissible standard rates can have destructing effects on workers' health. Pneumatic hammers are among the tools that are used in civil and industrial projects, transferring high vibration ...

An injectable PACmC hydrogel with “rigid island‐flexible chain” architecture is developed, featuring low swelling (49.2% within 7 d), strong wet adhesion (46.5 kPa), and high burst pressure (701 mm Hg), which can achieve rapid hemostasis and long‐term sealing in rabbit and porcine models of hepatic and splenic hemorrhage.

Nuclear mechanical properties are inherently scale‐dependent, arising from a hierarchical architecture that spans DNA, chromatin, the nuclear envelope, and condensates. Experimental techniques and theoretical models are integrated into a cohesive multiscale framework linking nanoscale structural features to organelle‐level mechanical behavior.

Scottish cycling pavement assessment using hand–arm vibration exposure
A defective pavement surface discourages cyclists from selecting certain routes, and vibration exposure is a noticeable consequence of reduced path surface quality.
