High‐Performance, Paper‐Based Microelectronics via a Micromodular Fabrication Process

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates high‐performance silicon micromodular transistors on cellulose nanomaterial‐coated paper, with interconnects formed via e‐jet printing. Transistors exhibit excellent electrical properties and maintain performance under applied strain.

Mechanical Stress Evolution in Polycrystalline Ge Thin Films Under MeV Ion Irradiation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Irradiation of polycrystalline Ge thin films with 1.8 MeV Au ions alters residual stress through defect generation and lattice expansion. Increasing fluence drives progressive lattice disorder and eventual amorphization. Polycrystalline Ge resists amorphization longer than crystalline Ge, as grain boundaries facilitate defect diffusion, significantly ...

Impact of PVDF Homo and Copolymer on Thiophosphate Solid Electrolyte Characteristics and Comprehensive Bulk‐To‐Surface Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study examines how a PVDF‐like binder affects the argyrodite Li6PS5Cl electrolyte properties. Using an approach that combines bulk and surface characterization with electrochemistry, we found a chemical interaction between Li6PS5Cl and PVDF, resulting in partial chlorine substitution by fluorine and slightly reduced ionic conductivity.

Tamoxifen induced hands deformities

Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice, 2022
Introduction Tamoxifen is widely used for the treatment of hormone-responsive breast cancer. In this article, we report a case of a patient who developed hand deformities following long-term administration of tamoxifen.

Congenital Deformities of the Hands

Pediatric Clinics of North America, 2020
Evaluation of the pediatric musculoskeletal system may be difficult because of differences between children and adults. As children mature, their physical structure approaches that of an adult. However, in the meantime, varying stages of ossification and developmental timelines may confuse the average clinician.

Deformities of the hand

The American Journal of Surgery, 1958
T HE successfu1 repair of deformities of the hand is contingent on: (I) thorough study and evaIuation of the abnormaIity; (2) definite pIanning of each procedure; (3) the conservation of a11 avaiIabIe tissue; (4) prevention, if possibIe, of any Ioss of tissue; and (5) sufficient time intervaIs between surgica1 procedures.

Congenital Deformities of the Hand

Clinics in Plastic Surgery, 1977
The management of patients with deformities of the hand is a complex challenge and the surgeon must maintain a sensible balance between function, appearance, mobility, and stability. It is possible for surgery to be too radical or too conservative and so be detrimental to the patient.

Deformities of the rheumatoid hand

The American Journal of Surgery, 1965
Abstract The deformities of the rhuematoid hand are produced by an inflammatory process which has its main expression in the synovial tissue. Dorsal tenosynovitis, tendon rupture, and deformity of the wrist may be satisfactorily managed by the surgical approach. Ulnar drift, swan neck, and boutonniere deformities are difficult to treat.

HAND DEFORMITIES IN PATIENTS WITH SNAKEBITE

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1978
Over the past 25 years, 83 patients have been treated at our hospitals for poisonous snakebites of the hand. Prior to 1970, polyvalent antivenin was used, either alone or in conjunction with cryotherapy, steroids, or incision and suction methods. Hand deformities, due to tissue necrosis, were encountered in 15 of 22 patients (68%) treated by these ...
