Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.

Rapid solidification in laser additive manufacturing facilitates the precipitation of metastable phases in aluminum alloys. These metastable phases significantly enhance the strength by forming a high‐volume fraction of precipitates with an order of magnitude reduced sizes and smaller interspacing, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Hydrogels demonstrate material properties that mimic the mechanical and chemical environments of biological tissues. Yet, they face challenges during their integration into 3D interfaces. By identifying a class of thermoplastic hydrogels, a strategy is developed to pattern hydrogels in thermally drawn fibers.

Emergent Motility of Self‐Organized Particle‐Giant Unilamellar Vesicle Assembly
Giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs), when combined with silica particles under alternating electric fields, spontaneously self‐assemble into motile structures. Asymmetric particle decoration induces fluid flows that propel the assemblies, enabling persistent motion and reversible control.
