Automatic analysis of handwriting for gender classification
Pattern Analysis and Applications, 2014This paper presents a study to predict gender of individuals from scanned images of their handwritings. The proposed methodology is based on extracting a set of features from writing samples of male and female writers and training classifiers to learn to discriminate between the two.

A computer system for graphometric handwriting analysis
Proceedings of the International Conference on Computer Systems and Technologies and Workshop for PhD Students in Computing, 2009A computer-based handwriting analysis system is described. It realizes the graphometric approach based on the measurement of geometric features. A user-friendly interface allows the expert to select characteristic points on the letter shape and define the parameters that have to be measured.
