HANKEL DETERMINANTS OF FACTORIAL FRACTIONS
Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2021AbstractBy making use of the Cauchy double alternant and the Laplace expansion formula, we establish two closed formulae for the determinants of factorial fractions that are then utilised to evaluate several determinants of binomial coefficients and Catalan numbers, including those obtained recently by Chammam [‘Generalized harmonic numbers, Jacobi ...

Szegö’s theorem for Hankel determinants
Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1979An analog of Szegö’s formula for asymptotic Töeplitz determinants is proved for Hankel determinants. The proof uses a set of recurrence formulas developed for polynomials orthogonal on a finite segment of the real line and some properties of the Jost function associated with those polynomials.

ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF SOME HANKEL-TOEPLITZ DETERMINANTS
Reviews in Mathematical Physics, 1992Motivated by the recent increase in interest in Toeplitz determinants of large order, whose elements are moments with respect to measures, by their connection with the theory of quantum gravity we have given exact values of the determinants for several large classes of measures.
