An ab initio electromagnetic framework links quasinormal modes to Fano resonances in extinction spectra. Analytical expressions for the Fano asymmetry and intensity parameters are derived from overlap integrals, enabling rapid spectral reconstruction and physical interpretation.

Hankel determinant solution for elliptic sequence
We show that the Hankel determinants of a generalized Catalan sequence satisfy the equations of the elliptic sequence. As a consequence, the coordinates of the multiples of an arbitrary point on the elliptic curve are expressed by the Hankel determinants.

Hankel determinants for some common lattice paths
For a single value of $\ell$, let $f(n,\ell)$ denote the number of lattice paths that use the steps $(1,1)$, $(1,-1)$, and $(\ell,0)$, that run from $(0,0)$ to $(n,0)$, and that never run below the horizontal axis. Equivalently, $f(n,\ell)$ satisfies the quadratic functional equation $F(x) = \sum_{n\ge 0}f(n,\ell) x^n = 1+x^{\ell}F(x)+x^2F(x)^2.$ Let ...

Hankel Determinants, Padé Approximations, and Irrationality Exponents [PDF]
The irrationality exponent of an irrational number $ξ$, which measures the approximation rate of $ξ$ by rationals, is in general extremely difficult to compute explicitly, unless we know the continued fraction expansion of $ξ$. Results obtained so far are rather fragmentary, and often treated case by case.

In the current study, we investigate a subclass of convex functions, denoted by K n − 1 , L $\mathcal{K}_{n-1,\mathcal{L}}$ , associated with a domain bounded by an epicycloid with n − 1 $n-1$ cusps.

Polaritonic Spectra of Optical Mie Voids
Optical Mie voids have been shown to provide a versatile platform for polaritonic physics. Analytical and numerical analysis reveal how void resonances couple to excitonic media, enabling weak‐ and strong‐coupling regimes, polariton gaps, Q‐factor enhancement, and spatial mode localization.

Hankel Determinants of q-Stirling Numbers
In this paper, we consider the q-analogue of the Hankel determinants of the Bell numbers and give combinatorial proofs of these results. We show that the Hankel determinants of the q-Stirling numbers can be simplified to a determinant that is almost upper-triangular, and then construct sign-reversing involutions on certain sets of RG-words that

Abstract Background AAPM Report No. 365 recommends that medical physics graduate programs offer courses covering both mathematical and statistical methods (Section 3.1.7) as well as computational methods and medical informatics (Section 3.1.8). While our program seeks to incorporate both of these essential areas into the curriculum, various financial ...

Color Routing and Beam Steering of Single‐Molecule Emission with a Spherical Silicon Nanoantenna
We experimentally demonstrate broadband directional emission from single molecules using a single spherical silicon nanoparticle assembled via DNA origami. By varying nanoparticle (NP) size and emitter position, we achieve unidirectional emission, beam steering, and color routing at the nanoscale, revealing modal interference as the underlying ...

A Study of Third Hankel Determinant for Certain Subclasses of Analytic Function
Recently the Hankel determinant problems got attractions of many well-known authors. Third Hankel determinant problems were determined for different subclasses of analytic functions.
