A novel constraint‐tightening approach for robust data‐driven predictive control
Abstract In this paper, we present a data‐driven model predictive control (MPC) scheme that is capable of stabilizing unknown linear time‐invariant systems under the influence of process disturbances. To this end, Willems' lemma is used to predict the future behavior of the system. This allows the entire scheme to be set up using only a priori measured

Hankel Tensors: Associated Hankel Matrices and Vandermonde Decomposition
Hankel tensors arise from applications such as signal processing. In this paper, we make an initial study on Hankel tensors. For each Hankel tensor, we associate it with a Hankel matrix and a higher order two-dimensional symmetric tensor, which we call ...

Model reduction with alternatives to the standard hankel matrix
The problem of deriving a low dimensional model from a given data record arises frequently in fields such as engineering, economics, or biology. In the context of a stochastic realization algorithm, this study considers three variations of model reduction techniques based on singular value decomposition.

Towards data‐driven stochastic predictive control
Summary Data‐driven predictive control based on the fundamental lemma by Willems et al. is frequently considered for deterministic LTI systems subject to measurement noise. However, little has been done on data‐driven stochastic control. In this paper, we propose a data‐driven stochastic predictive control scheme for LTI systems subject to possibly ...

The use of the QR factorization in the partial realization problem [PDF]
The use of the QR factorization of the Hankel matrix in solving the partial realization problem is analyzed. Straightforward use of the QR factorization results in a realization scheme that possesses all of the computational advantages of Rissanen's ...

A reconfigurable intelligent surface is proposed that can simultaneously anomalously reflect the light and sense the angle of arrival. An in situ optimization of either the currents flowing on array elements or the far field in the receiver direction realizes anomalous reflection and suppresses parasitic scattering.
