Design and rationale of the eLym™ System for Decompensation of Excess Lymphatic Fluid via the Thoracic Duct in Acute Heart Failure (DELTA‐HF)

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, EarlyView.
Abstract Aims The interstitial space is the major compartment in which the excess fluid is located, forming peripheral congestion in acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF). The lymphatic system is responsible for the constant drainage of the compartment.

On the plasma permeability of highly porous ceramic framework materials using polymers as marker materials

open access: yesPlasma Processes and Polymers, Volume 20, Issue 1, January 2023., 2023
Highly porous materials are of large interest, for example, for gas sensing and catalysis. To study, how deep plasma species can penetrate these materials, a new investigation method is presented. A polymer is used as marker material and covered with porous material during plasma exposure.
