Contributions to the Fractional Hardy Integral Inequality

open access: yesUniversal Journal of Mathematics and Applications
This article makes three contributions to the fractional Hardy integral inequality. First, we refine an existing result in the literature by improving the main constant and relaxing some assumptions on the parameters.

Scientific knowledge about dementia: From the Global South to the world

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 22, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Most people with dementia live in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs), but scientific knowledge about dementia is dominated by Global North perspectives. This interdisciplinary article combines expertise from Latin America, India, and Europe, using a mixed‐methodology approach that incorporates expert discussions, a narrative review, and ...

“You're this person who's providing light”: Embodied responses to information loss and transition within LGBTQIA+ communities

open access: yesJournal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Volume 77, Issue 3, Page 473-488, March 2026.
Abstract This paper reports on findings from 15 semi‐structured interviews with LGBTQIA+ individuals within the United States who have experienced the loss of one or more LGBTQIA+ information spaces. The paper specifically focuses on how such losses occurred and the information transitions experienced by the participants in response to this loss ...

Institutional Entrepreneurship and Work for Enhanced Sustainability at the Base of the Pyramid

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 35, Issue 3, Page 4014-4034, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Promoting sustainability at the base of the pyramid (BoP) often falls short of inclusive development due to informal and fragmented institutions, creating institutional voids. Although institutions are critical in BoP settings, there is limited clarity on how institutional mechanisms can address sustainability challenges in low‐income contexts

Ghost effect from Boltzmann theory

open access: yesCommunications on Pure and Applied Mathematics, Volume 79, Issue 3, Page 558-675, March 2026.
Abstract Taking place naturally in a gas subject to a given wall temperature distribution, the “ghost effect” exhibits a rare kinetic effect beyond the prediction of classical fluid theory and Fourier law in such a classical problem in physics. As the Knudsen number ε$\varepsilon$ goes to zero, the finite variation of temperature in the bulk is ...

Street‐Level Institutional Work: How Social Workers Maintain, Disrupt, and Create the Rules of Social Organizations

open access: yesEuropean Policy Analysis, Volume 12, Issue 2, Spring 2026.
ABSTRACT Research has shown that street‐level workers may shape public policies, yet less is known about the processes through which they attempt to influence institutional arrangements. This gap is particularly evident in corporatist welfare states, where multiple organizations are involved in social policy implementation.

Generalized quasi‐geostrophic equation in critical Lorentz–Besov spaces, based on maximal regularity

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, Volume 299, Issue 3, Page 637-660, March 2026.
Abstract We consider the quasi‐geostrophic equation with its principal part (−Δ)α${(-\mathrm{\Delta})^{\alpha}}$ for α>1/2$\alpha >1/2$ in Rn$\mathbb {R}^n$ with n≥2$n \ge 2$. We show that for every initial data θ0∈Ḃr,q1−2α+nr$\theta _0 \in \dot{B}^{1-2\alpha + \frac{n}{r}}_{r, q}$ with 1

On Some Extensions of Hardy-Hilbert's Inequality and Applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2007
By introducing some parameters we establish an extension of Hardy-Hilbert's integral inequality and the corresponding inequality for series. As an application, the reverses, some particular results and their equivalent forms are considered.
