The harmonic analysis of kernel functions [PDF]

open access: yesAutomatica, 2018
Kernel-based methods have been recently introduced for linear system identification as an alternative to parametric prediction error methods. Adopting the Bayesian perspective, the impulse response is modeled as a non-stationary Gaussian process with zero mean and with a certain kernel (i.e. covariance) function.

Harmonic analysis

open access: yes2004 IEEE Electro/Information Technology Conference, 2004
This paper describes a method of calculating the transforms, currently obtained via Fourier and reverse Fourier transforms. The method allows calculating efficiently the transforms of a signal having an arbitrary dimension of the digital representation by reducing the transform to a vector-to-circulant matrix multiplying.

Computability in Harmonic Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesFoundations of Computational Mathematics, 2021
We study the question of constructive approximation of the harmonic measure $ω_x^Ω$ of a connected bounded domain $Ω$ with respect to a point $x\inΩ$. In particular, using a new notion of computable harmonic approximation, we show that for an arbitrary such $Ω$, computability of the harmonic measure $ω^Ω_x$ for a single point $x\inΩ$ implies ...

Pseudosymmetric Spaces as Generalization of Symmetric spaces [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2023
In this paper, the concept of a pseudosymmetric space which is a natural generalization of the concept of a symmetric space is defined. All basic concepts such as the Luxemburg representation theorem, the Boyd indices, the fundamental function and its ...

Quantum Harmonic Analysis on Locally Compact Abelian Groups [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Fourier Analysis and Applications, 2023
We extend the notions of quantum harmonic analysis, as introduced in R. Werner’s paper from 1984 (J Math Phys 25(5):1404–1411), to abelian phase spaces, by which we mean a locally compact abelian group endowed with a Heisenberg multiplier.

Harmonic analysis of 2d CFT partition functions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We apply the theory of harmonic analysis on the fundamental domain of SL(2, ℤ) to partition functions of two-dimensional conformal field theories.

Affine quantum harmonic analysis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 2021
We develop a quantum harmonic analysis framework for the affine group. This encapsulates several examples in the literature such as affine localization operators, covariant integral quantizations, and affine quadratic time-frequency representations.

A Static and Dynamic Analysis of A High-Speed Turbo Machine Foundation [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2023
The foundation plays a significant role in safe and efficient turbo machinery operation. Turbomachinery generates harmonic load on the foundation due to its high-speed rotating motion, which causes vibration in the machinery foundation.

$L_{p;r} $ spaces: Cauchy Singular Integral, Hardy Classes and Riemann-Hilbert Problem in this Framework [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2019
In the present work the space  $L_{p;r} $ which is continuously embedded into $L_{p} $  is introduced. The corresponding Hardy spaces of analytic functions are defined as well. Some properties of the functions from these spaces are studied.
