Influence of the Supply Voltage Variation on the Conducted Emission in the Frequency Range up to 150 kHz Injected into the Power Grid by CFL and LED Lamps—Case Study

open access: yesApplied Sciences
In normal operating conditions, the mains voltage level provided by low-voltage distribution networks follows time-varying patterns within permissible limits.

The simulation of a twelve pulse diode rectifier with saturable reactors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
A twelve pulse diode rectifier with saturable reactors to allow a degree of phase control is simulated using mathematical software. First order differential equations are solved numerically to allow calculation of line current.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

On X ̃-frames and conjugate systems in Banach spaces

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis, 2014
The generalization of p-frame in Banach spaces is considered in this paper. The concepts of an X~-frame and a system conjugate to X~-frame were introduced. Analogues of the results on the existence of conjugate system were obtained.

Harmonic analysis on Heisenberg--Clifford Lie supergroups

open access: yes, 2011
We define a Fourier transform and a convolution product for functions and distributions on Heisenberg--Clifford Lie supergroups. The Fourier transform exchanges the convolution and a pointwise product, and is an intertwining operator for the left regular

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Sampling dependent systematic errors in effective harmonic models

open access: yes, 2019
Effective harmonic methods allow for calculating temperature dependent phonon frequencies by incorporating the anharmonic contributions into an effective harmonic Hamiltonian.

Microglial dynamics and ferroptosis induction in human iPSC‐derived neuron–astrocyte–microglia tri‐cultures

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A tri‐culture of iPSC‐derived neurons, astrocytes, and microglia treated with ferroptosis inducers as an Induced ferroptosis model was characterized by scRNA‐seq, cell survival, and cytokine release assays. This analysis revealed diverse microglial transcriptomic changes, indicating that the system captures key aspects of the complex cellular ...

Replicator-mutator equations with quadratic fitness

open access: yes, 2016
This work completes our previous analysis on models arising in evolutionary genetics. We consider the so-called replicator-mutator equation, when the fitness is quadratic.
