Harmonic Contributions Evaluation With the Harmonic Current Vector Method

IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2008
A method to evaluate harmonic contributions at the point of common coupling is presented in this paper. The proposed approach is based on the harmonic current vector method where reference impedances are introduced. Resistance defined at fundamental frequency with measurements is used as the customer-side reference impedance.

Bulk contribution in surface second-harmonic generation

Physical Review B, 1988
We study the bulk contribution to surface second-harmonic generation. It is shown that the formalism in the earlier literature neglected an important term in the bulk contribution which makes the separation of surface and bulk contributions impossible in experiments that allow no modification of the sample.

A modified harmonic current vector method for harmonic contribution determination

IEEE PES Power Systems Conference and Exposition, 2004., 2005
This paper deals with the determination of customer contributions to harmonic distortion at the point of connection to the utility network. The approach proposed in this paper is derived from the common power factor practice where a load should be fully compensated at the fundamental frequency and therefore seen as resistive from the network.

Harmonic contribution assessment on the condition of background harmonic fluctuations

2015 International Symposium on Smart Electric Distribution Systems and Technologies (EDST), 2015
This paper proposes a new method for estimating the harmonic contributions of the harmonic sources in condition of the harmonic fluctuations. This method is a combination of the dominant fluctuation filtering method which aims at estimating the background harmonic impedance and the quantile regression method which is used to assess the harmonic ...

Contribution to Serbian folk song harmonization

Zbornik radova Pedagoškog foruma scenskih umetnosti (24) - Folkolor u muzičkoj pedagogiji - zbornik radova, 2021
Seven Serbian folk songs have been analyzed for the purpose of this article: S ove strane Dunava, Goranine ćafanine, Sitan kamen do kamena, Stole mi se oženi, Of datim zlato zlaćeno, Lazi Lazo Lazare and Što taj sokak aman. They all are taken from the book Serbian Music Heritage by Zorislava M. Vasiljević (1996).

Contributions of the Fundamental, Resolved Harmonics, and Unresolved Harmonics in Tone-Phoneme Identification

Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, 1992
Researchers describe Mandarin Chinese tone phonemes by their fundamental frequency (Fo) contours. However, tone phonemes are also comprised of higher harmonics that also may cue tone phonemes. We measured identification thresholds of acoustically filtered tone phonemes and found that higher harmonics, including resolved harmonics above the Fo and ...

A contribution to harmonize water footprint assessments

Global Environmental Change, 2018
Abstract The water footprint (WF) has introduced a much-needed perspective for decision-makers on the use of water resources in supply chains. It has been used as a tool to assess and improve water use efficiency and water resources management, as well as inform on potential environmental impacts of water consumption in products.

Partially linear model for harmonic contribution determination

IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2016
Harmonic contribution determination is the premise on which the improvement of power system harmonic management is based. Calculating the harmonic impedance accurately is the key issue in harmonic contribution determination. The fluctuation method is a mature method for calculating the harmonic impedance in engineering applications.

Practical method to determine the harmonic contribution of a specific harmonic load

2012 IEEE 15th International Conference on Harmonics and Quality of Power, 2012
Quantitatively determining harmonic contribu-tion of the specific harmonic source at the particular bus of concern is an important task for power quality management. Compared with traditional methods where it's assumed that the background harmonics remain constant with time, the method proposed in the paper for calculating the equivalent harmonic ...
