Design of an On-line Harmonic Detection and Analysis System
For problem that current harmonic detection and analysis devices are too expensive, a simple on-line harmonic detection and analysis system was designed.

Several window functions are currently applied to improve the performance of the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) harmonic detection method. These window functions exhibit poor accuracy in measuring the harmonic contents of a signal with high-order and ...

Bose-Einstein condensation of indirect excitons in coupled quantum wells
We study the ground-state properties of a quasi-two-dimensional Bose-Einstein condensate of indirect excitons, which are confined in an anisotropic harmonic potential. Incorporating the interactions, we calculate the order parameter variationally.

Quantum Binary Decision for Driven Harmonic Oscillator [PDF]
We address the problem of determining whether or not a harmonic oscillator has been perturbed by an external force. Quantum detection and estimation theory has been used in devising optimum measurement schemes.

Developmental, Neuroanatomical and Cellular Expression of Genes Causing Dystonia
ABSTRACT Objective Dystonia is one of the most common movement disorders, with variants in multiple genes identified as causative. However, an understanding of which developmental stages, brain regions, and cell types are most relevant is crucial for developing relevant disease models and therapeutics.

Parametric Modeling for Two-Dimensional Harmonic Signals With Missing Harmonics
The problem of parametric modeling for the two-dimensional (2-D) harmonic signals with missing harmonics is addressed. The modeling process consists of two parts.

Detecting the degree of macroscopic quantumness using an overlap measurement
We investigate how to experimentally detect a recently proposed measure to quantify macroscopic quantum superpositions [Phys. Rev. Lett. 106, 220401 (2011)], namely, "macroscopic quantumness" $\mathcal{I}$.

Whole‐Body Pattern of Muscle Degeneration and Progression in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize whole‐body intramuscular fat distribution pattern in patients with sarcoglycanopathies and explore correlations with disease severity, duration and age at onset. Methods Retrospective, cross‐sectional, multicentric study enrolling patients with variants in one of the four sarcoglycan genes who underwent whole‐body ...

A Review of Harmonic Detection, Suppression, Aggregation, and Estimation Techniques
The rapid growth of power electronics-based devices, such as electric vehicles and renewable energy systems, has introduced nonlinear components into power systems, generating high-frequency harmonics that distort current and voltage waveforms.
