Helicity‐dependent all‐optical magnetization switching was demonstrated for the Bi‐ and Ga‐substituted rare‐earth (R) iron garnet crystal thin films (Bi,Ga:RIG; R = Eu3+, Nd3+, and Y3+). Geometry‐Driven Whispering‐Gallery Modes in Self‐Assembled Phosphorescent Organic Microtubes

Micelles encapsulating tris(2‐phenylpyridine)iridium(III) self‐assemble into a hollow hexagonal microtube stabilized by a surface passivation layer. The hexagonal cross‐section confines circulating light along its facets, sustaining sharp whispering‐gallery resonances that guide photoluminescence emission under laser excitation.

Multiple Scattering Model for the Coherent Optical Response of Correlated Disordered Plasmonic Metasurfaces

Disordered plasmonic metasurfaces enable advanced control over light scattering through disorder engineering. A theoretical model based on multiple scattering theory is developed to predict the coherent reflection and transmission of light from disordered metasurfaces with arbitrary pair correlations.

Massively Degenerate Coherent Perfect Absorption in Gradient‐Index Fibers

A coherent perfect absorber (CPA) normally operates for only one or very few spatial modes. The CPA proposed here uses a gradient‐index (GRIN) fiber to absorb hundreds of spatial modes at once, its self‐imaging property replacing the bulky free‐space degenerate cavity of earlier designs.
