Spectrum of harmonic excitations on fractals
The density of states and the nature of the eigenmodes of the vibrating d-dimensional Sierpinski gasket are investigated. The results hold for the tight-binding or any general quadratic Hamiltonian. For d > 1, the spectral measure is shown to be a superposition of two distinct pure point measures of relative weights d/(d + 1) and 1/(d + 1).

Femtosecond photoelectron and photoion spectrometer with vacuum ultraviolet probe pulses
We describe a setup to study ultrafast dynamics in gas-phase molecules using time-resolved photoelectron and photoion spectroscopy. The vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) probe pulses are generated via strong field high-order harmonic generation from infrared ...

A miniaturized mechano‐acoustic sensor is developed using an electrospun PVDF nanomesh as the diaphragm in a capacitive sensor structure. Unlike conventional nanomesh‐based sensors, it achieves high linear sensitivity, a broad and flat frequency response, and a compact form factor.

2D Calogero Model in the Collective-Field Approach
We consider the large-N Calogero-Marchioro model in two dimensions in the Hamiltonian collective field approach based on the 1/N expansion. The Bogomol'nyi limit appears in the presence of the harmonic confinement.

Tissue Harmonic Imaging with Coded Excitation
It becomes more important to obtain medical ultrasound images with higher signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and higher spatial resolution. In the last decade, tissue harmonic imaging (THI) and coded excitation to medical ultrasound imaging have been investigated.

The pyrene and ether groups are incorporated into the covalent triazine polymer (CTP) structure. The synergistic effect of the two functional groups endows CTP with better electron transfer, light absorption, and oxygen activation properties. An impressive apparent quantum yield (13.2% @420 nm) and a remarkable solar‐to‐chemical conversion efficiency ...
