X‐Ray and Electron Spectroscopy of the CdS/(Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)Se2 Interface With RbF Treatment
The chemical and electronic structure of the CdS/(Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 interface with RbF treatment is investigated using a combination of synchrotron‐ and laboratory‐based soft and hard X‐ray spectroscopies. A Rb–In–Se species is found at the absorber surface, with a band gap of 2.8 eV, in contrast to comparable Ag‐free Cu(In,Ga)Se2 absorbers with RbF‐

The photophysical properties of a hybrid solid state film, composed of a conjugated polymer and CsPbBr3 (zwitterionic sulfobetaine ‐capped) perovskite nanocrystals (NCs), are investigated by ultrafast spectroscopy and morphological characterization. The transient spectroscopy highlights the presence at the interface of a charge transfer state, and the ...

The Rise of Refractory Transition‐Metal Nitride Films for Advanced Electronics and Plasmonics
Transition‐metal nitrides (TMNs) are exceptional materials with high stability, biocompatibility, and semiconductor integration, which have been extensively employed in various fields. However, the epitaxial growth of TMN films remains a challenge. The absence of high‐quality TMNs limits the understanding of their condensed matter physics and hinders ...

Laser‐Induced Plasma Effects on Bond Breaking in High‐Density Polyethylene Pyrolysis
This study introduces a novel application of Laser‐Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) for bond breaking in high‐density polyethylene (HDPE), an area previously unexplored in laser‐plastic interactions. For the first time, a numerical model has been developed to differentiate between photon‐induced and laser field‐induced plasma, demonstrating the ...

Phase Engineering for Enhanced Piezoresponse in P(VDF‐TrFE) and Its Composites
As the temperature approaches the Curie point, the crystalline phase in P(VDF‐TrFE) decreases proportionally, while the amorphous phase increases. This shift leads to the formation of more interphase regions. Although spontaneous polarization from crystalline regions decreases, the interphase regions enable additional deformation, thereby enhancing the

Direct Ink Writing of Carbon‐Based Electrofluids for Soft Electrical Component Manufacturing
This work explores the manufacturing of Electrofluids (EFs), conductive particle suspensions that flow while maintaining conductivity, for soft electrical components. Using Direct Ink Writing (DIW), patterned EFs achieve enhanced performance, including a 800% sensitivity boost in strain gauges. Through rheological studies, a printability map is created
