On equivariant $p$-harmonic maps

open access: yesAnnales de l'Institut Henri Poincaré C, Analyse non linéaire, 1998
In the first section of this paper we study the Dirichlet problem for equivariant (rotationally symmetric) p -harmonic maps from the Euclidean ball B^m to the closed upper ellipsoid E^m_+ (b)

Artificial Intelligence in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Planar Solid‐State Nanopores Toward Scalable Nanofluidic Integration Based on CMOS Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We present a scalable silicon‐based fabrication strategy for planar solid‐state nanopores to enable their integration with complex nanofluidic systems. Prototype devices demonstrate normal voltage‐current characteristics, good noise performance, and appreciable streaming currents. Our CMOS‐compatible fabrication process offers precise geometric control

Hyperbolically Bi-Lipschitz Continuity for -Harmonic Quasiconformal Mappings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2012
We study the class of -harmonic -quasiconformal mappings with angular ranges. After building a differential equation for the hyperbolic metric of an angular range, we obtain the sharp bounds of their hyperbolically partial derivatives, determined by the ...

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Semitone frequency mapping to improve music representation for nucleus cochlear implants

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Audio, Speech, and Music Processing, 2011
The frequency-to-channel mapping for Cochlear implant (CI) signal processors was originally designed to optimize speech perception and generally does not preserve the harmonic structure of music sounds.

Harmonic Inequalities Associated With Left- and Right-Sided Fractional Integral Operators Pertaining Exponential Kernels With Applications

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics
We derive the left- and right-sided fractional Hermite–Hadamard (H–H)-type inequalities for harmonic convex mappings from the left- and right-sided fractional integral operators possessing exponential kernels.

Air‐Pressure–Actuated Vibroacoustic Metamaterial With Tunable Bandgap: Design, Modeling, and Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the design, modeling, and characterization of air‐pressure–actuated programmable vibroacoustic metamaterials (PVAMM). The study focuses on leveraging air pressure to dynamically tune resonance frequencies for effective noise attenuation.

A fundamental solution for the Laplace operator in a doubly connected domain

open access: yesBulletin of Computational Applied Mathematics, 2021
In this work, we find a harmonic Green function for a doubly connected domain using the theory of conformal mappings and then we define a Poisson kernel.

Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...
