Q-Type Spaces of Harmonic Mappings

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
In this paper, we attempt to investigate a new harmonic mapping class denoted by the Banach space QHp in the unit disk. Several characteristics of the class Qp are examined.

Integral Means and Arc length of Starlike Log-harmonic Mappings

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2011
We use star functions to determine the integral means for starlike log-harmonic mappings. Moreover, we include the upper bound for the arc length of starlike log-harmonic mappings.

Affine harmonic maps

open access: yesAnalysis, 2009
We introduce a class of maps from an affine flat into a Riemannian manifold that solve an elliptic system defined by the natural second order elliptic operator of the affine structure and the nonlinear Riemann geometry of the target. These maps are called affine harmonic.

Exponentially Harmonic Maps into Spheres [PDF]

open access: yesAxioms, 2018
We study smooth exponentially harmonic maps from a compact, connected, orientable Riemannian manifold M into a sphere S m ⊂ R m + 1 . Given a codimension two totally geodesic submanifold Σ ⊂ S m , we show that every nonconstant exponentially harmonic map ϕ : M → S m either meets or links Σ . If H 1 ( M , Z )

The Properties of a New Subclass of Harmonic Univalent Mappings

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We introduced a new subclass of univalent harmonic functions defined by the shear construction in the present paper. First, we showed that the convolutions of two special subclass harmonic mappings are convex in the horizontal direction.

Harmonic Shears of Slit and Polygonal Mappings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we study harmonic mappings by using the shear construction, introduced by Clunie and Sheil-Small in 1984. We consider two classes of conformal mappings, each of which maps the unit disk D univalently onto a domain which is convex in the ...

Schwarzian Derivative Criteria for Valence of Analytic and Harmonic Mappings

open access: yes, 2007
For analytic functions in the unit disk, general bounds on the Schwarzian derivative in terms of Nehari functions are shown to imply uniform local univalence and in some cases finite and bounded valence.

Characterizations of Bloch-Type Spaces of Harmonic Mappings

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2019
We study the Banach space BHα (α>0) of the harmonic mappings h on the open unit disk D satisfying the condition supz∈D⁡(1-z2)α(hzz+hz¯z)0 the mappings in BHα can be characterized in terms of a Lipschitz condition relative to the metric defined by dH,α(z ...

Some Properties and Regions of Variability of Affine Harmonic Mappings and Affine Biharmonic Mappings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2009
We first obtain the relations of local univalency, convexity, and linear connectedness between analytic functions and their corresponding affine harmonic mappings.
