The Distortion Theorems for Harmonic Mappings with Analytic Parts Convex or Starlike Functions of Order β

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2015
Some sharp estimates of coefficients, distortion, and growth for harmonic mappings with analytic parts convex or starlike functions of order β are obtained. We also give area estimates and covering theorems.

Composition Operators on Some Banach Spaces of Harmonic Mappings

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2020
We study the composition operators on Banach spaces of harmonic mappings that extend several well-known Banach spaces of analytic functions on the open unit disk in the complex plane, including the α-Bloch spaces, the growth spaces, the Zygmund space ...

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...

Almost contact metric 3-submersions

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1984
An almost contact metric 3-submersion is a Riemannian submersion, π from an almost contact metric manifold (M4m+3,(φi,ξi,ηi)i=13,g) onto an almost quaternionic manifold (N4n,(Ji)i=13,h) which commutes with the structure tensors of type (1,1);i.e., π*φi ...

Evidence of Iron Accumulation in Cerebral Adrenoleukodystrophy: A Potential Novel Disease Mechanism

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this first application of Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping Source Separation to cerebral adrenoleukodystrophy, we uncovered alterations in iron and myelin within lesions and normal appearing white matter. As validation, we demonstrate abnormal iron accumulation in those same compartments within primary brain tissue.

Innate Immune Reprogramming Mediated by Endogenous Retroelement Dysregulation Drives Multiple Sclerosis Progression

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
Epigenetic reprogramming in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and downstream myeloid cells, mediated by H3.3 downregulation and endogenous retroelement (ERE) overexpression, contributes to the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS). ABSTRACT Background Skewed myelopoiesis in the bone marrow has been identified as a key driver of multiple ...

Demon Registration for 2D Empirical Wavelet Transforms

open access: yesFoundations
The empirical wavelet transform is a fully adaptive time-scale representation that has been widely used in the last decade. Inspired by the empirical mode decomposition, it consists of filter banks based on harmonic mode supports.

Hip Morphology–Based Osteoarthritis Risk Prediction Models: Development and External Validation Using Individual Participant Data From the World COACH Consortium

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study aims to develop hip morphology‐based radiographic hip osteoarthritis (RHOA) risk prediction models and investigates the added predictive value of hip morphology measurements and the generalizability to different populations. Methods We combined data from nine prospective cohort studies participating in the Worldwide Collaboration ...

MULTIVALENT α - CONVEX HARMONIC MAPPINGS

open access: yesПроблемы анализа, 2002
In this paper we give coefficient conditions for complex-valued harmonic functions that are ultivalent, sense-preserving and α-convex. We determine the extreme points, distortion and covering theorems for these mappings.

Polarized harmonic mappings and optimal moving frames

open access: yesAtti della Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti : Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali, 2019
We introduce the notion of a polarized harmonic mapping M -> N of Riemannian manifolds and its infinitesimal analogue, a polarized harmonic connection. We study the integrability of these polarized harmonic connections when M is foliated by the action of
